Hiking trails and Mountaineering in Eryri

Just like our cycling friends, Wern Manor is ideally located for your group hiking and mountaineering exploits. If you need a basecamp to set your group off from, our manor house can be the starting point for you. While we prefer to drive up to Nant Gwynant (a 22 min excursion) and walk the remainder to the top, we've been told our country house is just a 4 hour hike to the peak of Yr Wyddfa for those who really want to reject the car. Whether you choose to attack this peak, or one of the other stunning mountains in the Eryri range, you can be sure to return to comfort with luxurious bedding and furnishings available to help you rest your weary feet.

Running Races

If your pace is little more express than our hiking friends, you can always book a runner's group retreat here to either compete in an organised race around Eryri or go at your own pace and off-the-beaten-track around one of the fantastic running routes in the area.
